About Brittany Peterson
Brittany Peterson is a certified athletic trainer (ATC) since May of 2013 and a current member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. She graduated from San Diego State University with her bachelors in Kinesiology emphasis in Athletic Training. During her years in the Athletic Training Educational Program she worked with UCSD’s women’s basketball team and Mesa Community College’s football, baseball and women’s soccer teams, both as a student athletic trainer. After graduating from SDSU she has worked side-by-side with several physical therapists, studying and practicing the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization model.
At the age of fifteen Brittany suffered a shoulder injury due to overuse in sports. She went through physical therapy for over a year until going back to playing. Those times made her realize she wanted to pursue her career in a rehab setting to help those get back into their hobbies or sports. Helping people of all levels is something that comes as a priority to Brittany and her experience with different age groups as well as different fitness levels is what separates her from others.
